Saint James Episcopal School offers an excellent Montessori, Christian education.
There are the Toddler and Primary levels for children ages 2-6 years. For
older children, our Lower Elementary grade levels encompass the First, Second,
Third and Fourth level students. We also offer a Mother's Day Out program
to fit the needs of younger children (18 months - 3 years) who are just beginning
to spend time away from home. The Montessori integrated curriculum emphasizes
exceptional one-on-one attention for each child, and encourages each child
to reach their full potential.

Marie Mosely and Father Fleener began St. James Montessori School in the summer of 1967. There were 54 children ranging in age from 2 ½ to 4. Marie laid the foundation for the school and even after her retirement in 1987, remained a driving force in each classroom. Before entering an assisted living center last year, Marie donated all of her teacher manuals and precious hand-made works to our staff and students.
St. James is celebrating our 40th anniversary this year, and we have 105 students, ranging in ages from 18 months to 11 years old.
Admissions Policy
St. James Episcopal School of Dallas admits students without regard to race, religion, national or ethnic origin and all students have access to all programs and activities. Students are accepted for admission after careful consideration of the child's potential to be a productive and cooperative member of the school community.
